“ After years of walking past Saffron in Stadium Plaza, I finally stepped inside today — and what a discovery. The space has transformed under the new ownership, with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a Bob Marley spirit that gives the room a relaxed, soulful energy. My photos don’t capture how vibrant and welcoming it truly feels. I ordered the snapper fish meal and it was excellent and huge portion— fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Today happened to be their last day before the owner takes a well‑deserved break, and they’ll reopen on January 13. When he returns, the dine‑in area is fully set up with new furniture, ready for people to sit down and enjoy the food in this beautiful space. Saffron is a gem in the Stadium neighbourhood — authentic, community‑minded, and full of heart. I’m grateful I finally stepped inside, and I’m already looking forward to returning when they reopen. ”

I usually go with oxtail sauce for my rice. They also had DG pop. Safron the chef was on TV showing some of his meal creations. So, I decided to check It out and it did not disappoint. ”
